Senate Bill 399 (As Passed) establishes a framework within which developed and rapidly developing counties, and their municipalities, can preserve community greenspace. The bill became effective on July 1, 2000. For rulemaking purposes it became effective on April 16, 2000 when Governor Barnes signed it into law.
